Song Kang and Lee Jun-young star in new drama ‘Four Hands, Two Sonatas’

The new Korean drama series ‘Four Hands, Two Sonatas’ has premiered on Netflix. The series explores the lives of two young pianists, Kang Bi-oh (played by Song Kang) and Choi Jeong-yo (played by Lee Jun-young), as they navigate friendship, rivalry, and the pursuit of musical dreams.

Song Kang’s character is a genius pianist seeking validation from his grandfather, a renowned conductor. This project marks Song Kang’s return to acting following his military service. Lee Jun-young portrays a talented pianist who previously stepped away from music due to childhood hardships but returns to the craft after meeting Bi-oh. This series serves as Lee Jun-young’s final project before his mandatory military enlistment.

Jang Gyu-ri joins the cast as Hong Jae-in, a viola player with exceptional auditory abilities who maintains a close relationship with Bi-oh. The production is directed by Park Hyeon-seok and written by Shin Yee-won.
