Song Kang discusses friendship with BTS V

Actor Song Kang has shared details regarding his friendship with BTS member V, which began during their military service. Appearing on the YouTube channel ‘TEO’s Salon Drip 2’, Song Kang discussed how his perspective has changed since completing his mandatory service, noting that he feels more relaxed and composed in his acting work.

Song Kang revealed that although he and V served in different units—with V in the SDT military police special mission unit and Song Kang as a regular soldier—they connected through mutual acquaintances. The two spent time together during weekday outings, visiting internet cafes to play group games involving five members from each of their respective units.

Song Kang humorously noted that V often covered the cost of meals, though Song Kang mentioned he would pay when losing at games or bowling. The friendship has continued following their service, with the two being spotted together at various locations, including running along the Han River and dining at restaurants.
