Song Kang to star in upcoming tvN drama ‘Four Hands’

Actor Song Kang is set to return to the screen in the upcoming tvN weekend drama ‘Four Hands’, his first project following his military discharge. The series, which premieres on the 29th, follows the friendship, love, and competition among youths at an arts high school focused on music.

Song Kang portrays Kang Bi-oh, a piano prodigy driven by a desire for his grandfather’s attention. To prepare for the role, Song underwent piano lessons prior to his discharge and practiced extensively with co-star Lee Jun-young. He noted that while he initially felt significant tension during script readings, his chemistry with Lee and co-star Jang Gyu-ri helped him find stability during filming.

During a recent appearance on the YouTube channel ‘Salon Drip’, Song shared personal anecdotes, including his childhood piano training and his family background in athletics. He also described the technical challenges of filming piano duets, noting that the actors eventually required separate chairs to accommodate their physical stature during performances.
