Song Yalong tops Douban poll for most handsome Chinese actors

A recent poll on Douban regarding the most handsome Chinese actors has sparked significant online debate. The vote, which included 5,173 participants, allowed individuals to select up to four actors.

Song Yalong secured the top position with 1,917 votes (37%), followed by Yang Yang with 1,705 votes (33%) and Gong Jun with 1,615 votes (31%). Zhang Linghe placed fourth with 1,040 votes (20%). Other actors mentioned in the rankings include Xu Kai, Xing Bairen, and Chen Xingxu.

The results have led to discussions regarding the subjective nature of beauty standards. Observers noted the diverse physical styles among the top four, ranging from Song Yalong’s sharp, angular features to Yang Yang’s more balanced and traditional aesthetic.
