Songchainoi and Banluelok to headline Muay Thai main event in Bangkok

Songchainoi Kiatsongrit and Banluelok Sitwatcharachai are set to face each other in an atomweight Muay Thai main event at The Inner Circle 27. The event will take place this Friday, August 21, at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok.

Songchainoi, a former ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Title challenger, seeks to regain his momentum following a recent unanimous decision loss to Numsurin Chor Ketwina. He noted that weight adjustments during his previous fight impacted his recovery and confidence, but he has prepared specifically to counter Banluelok’s speed and left kicks.

Banluelok enters the bout on a two-fight winning streak in kickboxing and Muay Thai. He views this matchup as a critical opportunity to secure a ONE Championship contract. Banluelok has stated his intention to exploit Songchainoi’s reliance on hand power and aims to become the first person to finish the durable fighter via knockout.
