Sonia Abrão ends midday edition of RedeTV! program

Sonia Abrão is discontinuing the midday edition of her program, ‘A Tarde é Sua’, on RedeTV!. The first edition, which aired at noon for approximately four months, will conclude its run this Friday, October 2.

Reports indicate the change was requested by Abrão due to exhaustion and the logistical difficulties of managing two different broadcast times. The presenter noted the challenge of arriving early at the studios and having to eat lunch on-site. Additionally, limitations in team resources were cited as a contributing factor.

Following this change, Abrão will return to a single-edition format airing at 3:00 PM. RedeTV! has not yet announced a replacement for the midday time slot, though speculation suggests the space may be filled with prank or viral video content. Abrão remains under contract with the network until 2029.
