Sonia Chow killed in Pearblossom Highway crash near Palmdale

A 59-year-old woman, identified by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner as Sonia Chow, died following a two-vehicle collision on Pearblossom Highway near Palmdale on Tuesday morning.

The California Highway Patrol reported the crash occurred around 10:30 a.m. west of Old Nadeau Road. The collision resulted in the closure of Pearblossom Highway between 26th Street East and Sierra Highway while investigators cleared the scene. The identity and condition of the second driver involved have not yet been released, and the cause of the accident remains under investigation.
