Sonia Mabrouk faces viewership and editorial criticism at BFMTV

Sonia Mabrouk is facing both viewership challenges and editorial criticism following the launch of her program ‘100% Mabrouk’ on BFMTV.

In terms of audience performance, the program has struggled to compete with rival news channels. On September 8, 2026, the show averaged 277,000 viewers, a 2% audience share, placing BFMTV behind CNews and LCI. Specifically, CNews programs such as ‘Face à l’info’ and ‘L’Heure des Pros 2’ drew significantly higher viewership numbers during the same period.

Simultaneously, the journalist has come under fire from labor unions SNJ and CGT regarding the show's editorial direction. The unions issued a joint statement criticizing a lack of pushback during interviews with political figures, specifically citing an interview with Sarah Knafo and comments made by Bruno Retailleau. The unions also reported that individuals classified as far-right represented approximately 25.5% of the program's guests since its launch on August 24.
