French media landscape undergoes major programming and talent shifts

The French media landscape is undergoing significant changes for the 2026-2027 season, marked by major talent shifts and programming updates across television and radio.

Journalist Sonia Mabrouk has officially debuted on BFMTV with her new daily program, ‘100% Mabrouk’. Her move follows a high-profile departure from CNews, where she resigned in protest over the management's decision to retain Jean-Marc Morandini following his legal convictions. Mabrouk stated her new show aims to provide a platform for debate and diverse political visions rather than focusing on election duels.

On France Inter, Nagui is transitioning from his long-running daily show ‘La bande originale’ to a new weekly program titled ‘Les ailes de géant’, which features one-on-one interviews with artists. His former daily time slot has been taken over by Maïtena Biraben, who launched ‘Franche Culture’ with guest Vincent Dedienne.

Additionally, the news channel LCI is implementing a major schedule overhaul. New additions include ‘L’Interview d’Amélie Carrouër’ in the mornings and revamped evening slots hosted by Darius Rochebin and Margot Haddad. The channel is also introducing a new visual identity to enhance its educational approach.
