Sonic has launched a new Banana Collection across its participating locations nationwide to capitalize on the growing popularity of banana-flavored products. The menu expansion, announced on August 24, 2026, includes both returning favorites and new items.

The collection features the returning Banana Pudding Shake, which consists of banana pudding-flavored soft serve blended with vanilla wafer cookie crumbles. Other new offerings include the Banana Pudding Blast, the Banana Pudding Cream Slush, and the Banana Dirty Dr Pepper, a beverage that combines Dr Pepper with real banana and cream.

Sonic Chief Marketing Officer Ryan Dickerson stated that the lineup is designed to combine nostalgic flavors with new innovations to meet the increasing consumer demand for fruit-forward flavors.
