Sonic the Hedgehog to cameo in The Angry Birds Movie 3

Sonic the Hedgehog Angry Birds Movie 3 Sega Paramount Rovio

A new trailer for The Angry Birds Movie 3 has revealed a cameo appearance by Sonic the Hedgehog. The footage shows the Sega mascot running through a forest alongside Chuck, the yellow bird voiced by Josh Gad.

While Paramount has not officially confirmed the voice actor, it is speculated that Ben Schwartz, who voices Sonic in the Paramount film series, may reprise the role. This appearance precedes the release of Sonic the Hedgehog 4, which is scheduled for March 19.

The crossover follows Sega's 2023 acquisition of Rovio, the developer of Angry Birds. While previous films in the franchise were distributed by Sony, Paramount is handling the release of the third installment, which is set to arrive in theaters on December 23.
