SonicWall opens new office in Pune to expand Indian operations

Cybersecurity company SonicWall has announced the opening of a new office in Pune, India, as part of its long-term investment and expansion strategy. The new facility is intended to strengthen the company’s engineering and development operations by leveraging India’s technical talent pool.

The Pune office will work alongside the company’s existing research and development center in Bangalore to accelerate SonicWall’s global product roadmap. The expansion includes plans to add 400 engineering roles focused on artificial intelligence, cloud technologies, cybersecurity research, and next-generation platform development.

According to company leadership, the initiative aims to address security challenges stemming from AI, cloud adoption, and distributed digital environments, positioning India as a major contributor to the company’s worldwide product strategy.
