Sonny Echono urges Nigerians to emulate Is-haq Oloyede’s legacy

Sonny Echono, Executive Secretary of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund), has called on Nigerians to prioritize national interest and embrace values of integrity, courage, and compassion in public service.

Speaking in Ilorin during the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) Homecoming Celebration and Investiture Ceremony, Echono highlighted the importance of recognizing excellence while individuals are still alive to inspire future generations.

The event honored Professor Emeritus Is-haq Oloyede and 30 other Nigerians for their contributions to education and national development. Echono specifically commended Oloyede for his commitment to service and his previous efforts in tackling examination malpractice during his tenure as Registrar.
