Sono Hotels & Resorts Asia to launch Sono Moon brand in Bali

Sono Hotels & Resorts Asia has signed a hotel management agreement with Drupadi Management to introduce its Sono Moon brand to Bali. The agreement involves the conversion and repositioning of an existing 225-room property in Seminyak, which is expected to reopen as Sono Moon Bali Seminyak in the first quarter of 2027.

The property will feature two swimming pools, a gym, a spa, a kids’ club, meeting facilities, and an all-day dining outlet. As part of the repositioning, selected areas will undergo refurbishment to enhance dining, leisure, and commercial offerings, aiming to connect guests with the local food, culture, and entertainment of the Seminyak area.

Owned by South Korea’s Sono Trinity Group, Sono Hotels & Resorts Asia currently manages 17 hotels across Thailand, Indonesia, and Japan. The company has more than 13 additional properties in its development pipeline across Asia through 2029.
