Governor Yeraldine Bonilla of Sinaloa announced several initiatives aimed at supporting the state’s economy and families. In a televised link with President Claudia Sheinbaum, she highlighted a maize‑price support program that will benefit roughly 26,800 producers with incentives worth 4.566 billion pesos for the 2025‑2026 autumn‑winter cycle.

Bonilla also said the state is working with the federal Treasury and the state finance secretariat to move the CFE summer electricity subsidy forward to 1 April, a month earlier than the current start date of 1 May, in order to ease high power bills during the hot season.

Separately, the state’s Education and Culture Secretariat launched a school‑uniform exchange program. The first phase, covering surnames A‑F, will serve more than 481 000 basic‑education students through 1 121 exchange centers in all 20 municipalities, with the governor presiding over the opening ceremony.
