Sonora government launches cultural agenda across 46 municipalities
The Government of Sonora, through the Secretary of Education and Culture and the Sonoran Institute of Culture (ISC), has announced a cultural agenda spanning 46 municipalities, rural communities, and indigenous towns. The program includes theater, dance, visual arts, and heritage preservation activities scheduled from September to December.
Key initiatives include 48 community performances, five free courses, and the Fotoseptiembre 2026 exhibitions. Additionally, the state is working on heritage declarations for the Átil, Sáric, Tubutama, and Oquitoa mission circuit and developing a passport to promote the State Museum Network.
