Sonora Governor distributes 3,700 bicycles via EnBici program

Sonora Governor Alfonso Durazo Montaño has overseen the distribution of 3,762 bicycles through the EnBici program to support mobility in remote and vulnerable communities. The initiative, managed via the Secretaría del Bienestar en Sonora, involves an investment of approximately 12.5 million pesos.

The program has reached 24 municipalities across the state, including Hermosillo, Nogales, Caborca, and Agua Prieta, among others. Recent distributions included 200 bicycles in Miguel Alemán. The bicycles are intended to assist students with school commutes and help parents with daily community activities, while also promoting physical activity and sustainable transport.
