Sonora weather forecast predicts heat and scattered rain

Sonora is expected to experience a mix of high temperatures and scattered rainfall on Sunday, October 4. Temperatures in the northwest, including San Luis Río Colorado and Heroica Caborca, may reach up to 40°C. Wind gusts between 50 and 70 km/h are also anticipated in some areas.

In Hermosillo, the probability of rain remains low at 10% to 15%, primarily during the night. However, mountainous regions in the east and southeast, such as Mazatán, Tecoripa, and Sahuaripa, face a higher rain probability of 30% to 40% during the afternoon and evening.

Looking ahead to Monday, humidity is expected to increase with a slight rise in the chance of showers in Hermosillo to 20%. By mid-week, temperatures are forecasted to climb significantly, potentially reaching 42°C between Wednesday and Friday.
