Sonos Ace Ultra headphones leaked with improved specs

Leaks regarding the upcoming Sonos Ace Ultra headphones suggest significant upgrades in noise cancellation, battery life, and user interface. The new model is expected to feature active noise cancellation (ANC) that is up to twice as effective as the original Sonos Ace.

Battery performance is reportedly improved, offering up to 35 hours of playback with ANC enabled. A fast-charging feature is also expected, providing approximately three hours of use from just three minutes of charging. In terms of design, the Ace Ultra may move away from physical buttons in favor of touch controls and will be available in three colors: Black, White, and a new blue-green shade called Agave.

Integration with Dolby Atmos-compatible Sonos soundbars is also expected to be enhanced, allowing for a more seamless transition between home theater audio and personal listening. While official details are unconfirmed, leaks suggest a potential announcement around September 1, 2026, with sales following shortly after. Pricing is rumored to be approximately $449 in the US, €449 in Europe, and £399 in the UK.
