Sonos and TCL announce new home entertainment hardware

Sonos has introduced the Beam Ultra, a compact soundbar designed to provide a 7.1.2 channel Dolby Atmos experience. Moving beyond a standard generational update, the device features nine custom drivers, including five tweeters designed for dialogue, stereo separation, and height effects. Each driver is powered by its own Class D digital amplifier to optimize acoustic performance in a small chassis.

In the television market, TCL is offering a 55-inch 4K QLED Smart TV through Amazon Mexico. The unit features HDR10 compatibility, an AiPQ processor for real-time image optimization, and an HVA panel for enhanced contrast and viewing angles. The television runs on Google TV, includes Dolby Audio, and supports HDMI 2.1 for low-latency gaming.
