Sonu Nigam releases Hindi‑Haryanvi single “Chunni”

Indian singer Sonu Nigam has launched a new Hindi‑Haryanvi track titled “Chunni”. In a press note he described the song as “a fun song adorned with a beautiful melodic structure and lyrics full of romance”. The single is issued by I Believe Music in partnership with Warner Music India and Global Music Junction.

Global Music Junction CEO Rajkumar Singh said the collaboration aims to bring India’s regional music to a global audience, highlighting the partnership between mainstream and regional artists. The release also follows Nigam’s recent song “Tabassum” from the film Batwara 1947, which was composed by A.R. Rahman with lyrics by Javed Akhtar and released by Aamir Khan Productions through Zee Music Company.
