Sonu Nigam releases new Haryanvi track ‘Chunni’

Indian playback singer Sonu Nigam has released a new romantic Haryanvi track titled ‘Chunni’. The song is a collaboration with singer Renuka Panwar and features music and lyrics by Aamin Barodi.

Nigam noted that the track allows him to reconnect with his roots in Faridabad, Haryana, where he was born and where his father spent his childhood. While he grew up understanding the Haryanvi language through school friends, he worked closely with lyricist Aamin Barodi to ensure the linguistic nuances were accurate for the performance. The music video for the track features actor Charmee Zaveri.
