Sonu Sood arrives in Nepal to provide relief for flood victims

Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has arrived in Nepal to provide relief to families affected by devastating flash floods that struck the country on August 26. Accompanied by his Sood Charity Foundation team, Sood has been distributing essential supplies, including food and blankets, brought from India.

During visits to areas such as Trishuli Bazar and Nuwakot, Sood met with survivors to assess their immediate needs and pledged that relief efforts would continue for several months to assist in rebuilding lives. He also expressed gratitude for the aid provided by the Indian government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The floods have resulted in a significant humanitarian crisis. Reports indicate a death toll exceeding 1,100 people, with thousands more reported missing. Rescue and recovery operations remain active in districts including Rasuwa, Nuwakot, and Chitwan.
