Sony and Torras Unveil Wearable Cooling Gadgets for Summer
Sony announced the REON POCKET PRO Plus, a wearable thermo device that sits at the back of the neck and uses sensors and a cooling plate to adjust temperature. The unit, priced at $259.99, is available for pre‑order in the United States with deliveries expected in late July 2026 and a battery life of up to 15 hours.
Torras introduced the COOLiFY Air 2026, a neck‑mounted air conditioner that employs a Peltier cooling system to lower skin temperature by up to 18 °F. It sells for $99.73, runs for around six hours on a charge, and charges via USB‑C. Both products target personal comfort in hot weather and aim to reduce reliance on traditional room‑scale air conditioning.
