Sony announces Marvel’s Wolverine limited edition PS5 hardware

Sony has announced a limited edition PlayStation 5 hardware collection to coincide with the upcoming release of Marvel’s Wolverine by Insomniac Games. The collection includes the Marvel’s Wolverine Battle Yellow Limited Edition Bundle, featuring a PS5 Digital Edition console with a yellow and black design inspired by comic book aesthetics, alongside a matching DualSense wireless controller.

Additionally, Sony is introducing an Adamantium-themed edition, which features a metallic finish for both the console covers and the DualSense controller. While the full bundle is exclusive to the Digital Edition, owners of the PS5 Slim or PS5 Pro can purchase separate themed covers and controllers.

Regarding the game itself, Insomniac Games developers have confirmed that Marvel’s Wolverine will focus exclusively on the character of Logan, with no other playable characters. Technical details reveal that the game is being built from the ground up to support 60 FPS with ray tracing as the default mode, even on the base PlayStation 5 model, to ensure high responsiveness during combat.
