Marvel’s Wolverine launches on PS5 in September 2026

Insomniac Games is set to release Marvel’s Wolverine on PlayStation 5 on September 15, 2026. The standalone action-adventure title will feature a mature tone, high-intensity melee combat, and next-gen technical support including DualSense haptic feedback and ray tracing. Key gameplay features confirmed for launch include a New Game Plus mode, mission replay, and “Nightmare Doors.”

To coincide with the release, Sony has unveiled a limited-edition hardware collection inspired by the character. The lineup includes a Battle Yellow Limited Edition PS5 Digital Edition bundle, which features a themed console and DualSense controller. Other available items include Adamantium-themed accessories for the PS5 Pro, as well as standalone Battle Yellow and Adamantium DualSense controllers and console covers for existing PS5 and PS5 Slim owners.

Pre-orders for the hardware and the game have begun in various global markets, including the US, UK, and South Africa. Digital pre-order bonuses for the game include the Classic Brown suit, reflective claws, and exclusive PlayStation avatars.
