Sony launches Bravia 7 II and 9 II True RGB TVs with global deals

Sony has introduced its new Bravia 7 II and 9 II televisions, employing True RGB Mini‑LED backlighting that independently controls red, green and blue LEDs. The technology promises wider color gamut, higher brightness and OLED‑like black levels while keeping power consumption low.

The models are available in sizes from 50 inches up to 115 inches, with 85‑inch versions highlighted for both the 7 II and 9 II. They run Google TV with Gemini voice control, support HDR10+, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, IMAX Enhanced and offer up to 120 Hz refresh rates. Reviews from Germany note the 9 II’s thin 4.3 cm panel depth, low frame border, improved sound system and energy‑saving dashboard. The Mexican launch confirms official pricing and availability through Sony’s online store, emphasizing the RGB TRILUMINOS Max backlight and X‑Wide Angle Pro for consistent colour from different viewing angles.

Promotional pricing has been reported across several markets: a U.S. Crutchfield/ Sony site sale provides up to $300 off the 65‑inch Bravia 7 II; Australian EOFY discounts range up to AU$1,500 on the 85‑inch model; and additional discounts are listed for other sizes. The rollout spans Germany, Mexico, the United States and Australia, positioning Sony’s True RGB TVs as premium options for home entertainment, gaming and sports viewing.
