Sony hikes PlayStation Plus fees in Brazil for 2026 plans

Sony adjusted PlayStation Plus subscription prices in Brazil at the start of 2026. The Extra tier now costs R$ 74.90 per month, R$ 209.90 quarterly, or R$ 592.90 annually, while the Deluxe tier is priced at R$ 86.90 per month, R$ 249.90 quarterly, or R$ 691.90 annually – a price gap of up to R$ 99 per year.

Both tiers include the Essential benefits of online multiplayer and three monthly games. The Extra tier adds a rotating catalogue of current titles such as Final Fantasy XVI, Marvel’s Spider‑Man 2, Cyberpunk 2077, God of War Ragnarök, Silent Hill 2, plus Ubisoft+ Classics. The Deluxe tier bundles everything from Extra and additionally offers classic games from earlier PlayStation generations (PS1, PS2, PSP) and limited-time trials of full titles. Users are urged to evaluate whether the added catalogue and classic‑game access justify the higher cost.
