Sony launches BRAVIA True RGB TVs and Theatre Trio home theater system in Taiwan

Sony announced the new BRAVIA True RGB television series in Taiwan, including the flagship BRAVIA 9 II and the high‑end BRAVIA 7 II. The TVs use independent red, green and blue LED backlight technology, combined with QD‑OLED and Mini‑LED features to deliver higher colour accuracy, brightness and contrast, while supporting HDR formats such as Dolby Vision, IMAX Enhanced and Dolby Atmos.

At the same event Sony introduced the BRAVIA Theatre Trio, a three‑piece wireless home‑theater system that creates up to 24 virtual speaker positions using AI‑driven room correction and a USB‑C microphone. The system supports Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and IMAX Enhanced and is priced at NT$68,900 (approximately US$2,000). Both the TV line and the audio system are marketed as ways to bring cinema‑grade picture and sound into the home without the need for ceiling speakers or complex setups.
