Sony Pictures Television launches Sony One on Watch TV

Sony Pictures Television (SPT) has announced that its digital platform, Sony One, is now available on Watch TV. This partnership aims to expand the platform's presence in Latin America by providing subscribers with access to a curated catalog of premium content.

The available programming includes the ‘Spider-Man’ film trilogy (2002–2007), recent global hits such as ‘Anyone But You’, and various series including ‘Community’, ‘The Tudors’, ‘Schitt's Creek’, and ‘Preacher’.

John Rossiter, Executive Vice President of Distribution, Channels, and Production for Latin America at Sony Pictures Television, stated that the launch is a key step in their strategy to work with major market players and develop distribution models that meet evolving consumer habits. Watch TV president Maurício Almeida noted that the addition of Sony Pictures content strengthens Watch TV's position as a high-value aggregator.
