Sony PlayStation Days of Play 2026 omits PS5 console discounts

Sony's annual Days of Play sale began on May 27 and runs through June 10, 2026. Unlike previous years, the promotion does not include any price cuts on the PS5 console or the PS Portal, and there are no discounts on PS Plus membership renewals. The lack of console deals follows a price increase earlier this year driven by component and RAM cost rises.

The sale does offer reductions on accessories, such as $100 off the PlayStation VR2 headset, up to $40 off Pulse earbuds and headsets, and $30 off DualSense Edge controllers. New PS Plus members can save up to 33 % on a 12‑month subscription, and existing members receive similar savings when upgrading tiers. Refurbished PS5 models remain at their pre‑increase MSRP, providing the closest price point to the original launch price.

The promotion will end on June 10, after which Sony is expected to resume its usual discount schedule for future events.
