Sony PlayStation hardware and cloud gaming updates

Sony has announced the release and pricing for the new PlayStation PULSE Wireless Headset. The device is scheduled to be available for pre-order on October 29 at a price of 99.99 Euros, with an official release date of November 19.

Consumer reactions to the new hardware have been mixed, with some users expressing dissatisfaction regarding Sony's recent hardware performance and the company's shift toward digital-only gaming. Some critics cited concerns over battery life in previous products like the Explorer Buds and the DualSense Edge as reasons for skepticism.

Additionally, the PlayStation Portal has received a cloud-streaming update (version 6.0.0) that allows the device to function more like a standalone console. Users can now stream games directly from Sony servers via the cloud, reducing the necessity of owning a PlayStation 5 console for remote play, provided there is a stable internet connection.
