Sony PlayStation launches 2026 Days of Play discounts while 12 titles leave PS Plus catalog

Sony has opened its annual Days of Play 2026 promotion, offering price cuts on accessories and peripherals as console prices remain high. The biggest discount goes to the PlayStation VR2 headset, reduced by £90 in the UK and $100 in the United States, making it the most competitively priced VR headset for PlayStation. The Pulse Elite wireless gaming headset also sees a substantial price drop, bringing it close to the street price of the older Pulse 3D model.

At the same time, Sony announced that twelve games will be removed from the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog on July 21, 2026. Titles leaving the service include Risk of Rain 2, Tropico 6, Clash: Artifacts of Chaos, Röki, and several others. Access to these games will be revoked after the removal date unless users purchase them separately, while new titles are slated to join the catalog later in the year.
