Sony reveals August 2026 PS Plus lineup and pre-order trends

Sony has announced the PlayStation Plus Essential lineup for August 2026, featuring Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition, Big Walk, and Signalis. The Extra and Premium tiers are expected to reveal their full lineups on August 12, with Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams already confirmed for the Premium subscription on August 18.

Several titles are scheduled to leave the service on August 18, including Earth Defence Force 6, Unicorn Overlord, Dead Island 2, and Harold Halibut.

In PlayStation Store pre-order charts, GTA 6 and EA Sports FC 27 are the leading titles. The Ultimate Edition of GTA 6 is currently ranked first, priced at 99.99 euros, ahead of its standard edition. EA Sports FC 27 follows closely with multiple editions, including an Ultimate Plus Edition priced at 159.99 euros. Other notable pre-orders include Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, NBA 2K27, and Marvel’s Wolverine.
