Sony unveils God of War Laufey Collector Box without the game

God of War Laufey Collector Box PlayStation 5 Santa Monica Studio video game merchandise

Sony and Santa Monica Studio have unveiled the Collector Box for the upcoming PlayStation 5 title, God of War Laufey. Scheduled for release on February 16, 2027, the premium package has sparked discussion due to the absence of the actual game, which must be purchased separately.

The Collector Box is priced at approximately €149.99, £129.99, or $149.99. It includes three physical items: a 20-centimeter resin statue of the protagonist Faye in a combat pose alongside characters Phranque and Rue, a 51-card Oracle Deck featuring artwork by Megan Lara, and a physical mini artbook containing concept art from the development team.

The statue features an integrated lighting function for the character Phranque, which is activated via a USB power connection. Pre-orders for this limited edition have commenced through PlayStation Direct and official PlayStation stores.
