Sony rolls out July PS Plus titles and plans PlayStation Store shutdown for PS3 and Vita
Sony disclosed the games that will be available to PlayStation Plus subscribers in July, adding Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III along with the smaller titles For the King II and CrossCode. The three games will become accessible from July 7 through August 3 across the Essential, Extra and Premium subscription tiers.
Separately, Sony announced that the digital PlayStation Store for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita will be phased out. The first closures will occur this year in Mexico, Honduras and Nicaragua, followed by other Latin American and Middle‑East markets later in the year, with a global shutdown slated for July 2027. Existing purchases will remain downloadable after the store closes.
