Sony rumored to announce lightweight telephoto and fisheye lenses

Rumors suggest Sony will announce three new E-mount lenses within the next two to three weeks. The announcement is expected to feature two ultra-telephoto G Master (GM) prime lenses that weigh less than 1kg each.

The leaked specifications include the FE 600mm f/6.3 GM OSS, estimated to weigh approximately 995g and retail for around $3,800, and the FE 400mm f/4.5 GM OSS, estimated at 994g with a price range of $2,699 to $2,899. These lenses are reportedly significantly lighter than comparable Nikon Z series models.

Additionally, Sony is rumored to release an 8-14mm f/3.5 fisheye zoom lens priced at approximately $1,499, which would fill a gap in the E-mount full-frame autofocus fisheye lineup.
