Sony unveils God of War Laufey, featuring Deborah Ann Woll as Faye

Sony Interactive Entertainment announced a new main‑line entry in the God of War series titled **Laufey**. The game places players in the role of Laufey (also known as Faye), the late wife of Kratos, and is voiced by actress **Deborah Ann Woll**. In the opening narrative, Laufey awakens after her burial in an unfamiliar realm and must confront the “Everywhen,” a shadowy afterlife where gods from various mythologies vie for power, to protect Kratos and their son Atreus.

The reveal was part of a State of Play presentation, which included a first trailer, screenshots and an interview with game director Ariel Lawrence. Sony highlighted that Laufey will retain the core combat and storytelling elements that define the franchise while exploring new mythological settings and magical challenges.
