Sony unveils RGB True Color BRAVIA 7 II and 9 II TVs

Sony announced its new BRAVIA 7 II and 9 II television models featuring the company’s proprietary True RGB back‑light technology, which controls red, green and blue light sources independently to deliver the highest colour volume in a consumer TV. The flagship BRAVIA 9 II is offered up to 115 inches, while the BRAVIA 7 II ranges from 50 to 98 inches. Both models include X‑Wide Angle Pro for consistent picture quality from off‑centre seats, HDR10, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos sound, Google TV and AI‑enhanced voice‑zoom. Sony also introduced the BRAVIA Theatre Trio audio system, designed to complement the new panels with spatial sound and Acoustic Multi‑Audio+ tweeters.

In Mexico the TVs are now available through Sony’s official store with prices starting at MXN 27,999 for the 50‑inch BRAVIA 7 II and MXN 69,999 for the 85‑inch BRAVIA 9 II. The Mexican launch highlights the same RGB Backlight Master Drive Pro and Mini‑LED brightness technologies that Sony cites as combining the colour range of QD‑OLED with Mini‑LED luminance.
