Sony unveils Xperia 10 VIII mid-range smartphone

Sony has introduced the Xperia 10 VIII, the eighth generation of its mid-range smartphone series. The new model features several incremental improvements over its predecessor, the Xperia 10 VII, including a display that is 50 percent brighter and optimized front-facing stereo speakers with enhanced bass and volume.

Technically, the device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, paired with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. It features a 6.1-inch OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a 5,000 mAh battery designed to last up to two days. The phone retains several signature features such as a 3.5 mm headphone jack, microSD card support, a dedicated camera button, and IP68 water resistance.

The camera setup includes a 50 MP main sensor and a 13 MP ultra-wide lens. The device is expected to run on Android 16 and will be available in three colors: misty purple, frosty white, and frosty azure. The suggested retail price is listed at 599 Euro.
