Sony updates PlayStation 5 user info and BRAVIA 9 TV features

Sony continues to expand its ecosystem for PlayStation 5 users through hardware updates and specialized display technology. The PlayStation 5 console utilizes an orange LED light indicator to signal that it has entered rest mode. In this state, the console consumes minimal power to perform background tasks such as downloading system updates, installing game data, and charging DualSense controllers via USB.

Complementing the console, Sony has released the BRAVIA 9 K-75XR90, a flagship 75-inch Mini-LED 4K Ultra HD television. Designed with PlayStation 5 optimizations, the display uses Mini-LED and QLED technology to provide high peak brightness and contrast, making it a viable alternative to OLED for gaming in rooms with ambient light. The television supports Dolby Vision HDR and is integrated with the Google TV platform.
