Sony’s canceled Sinister Six movie concept art revealed

Artist Victor J. Martinez has shared concept art for a previously unmade Spider-Man film, which details suggest was Sony’s canceled Sinister Six project. The artwork depicts Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man hanging upside down in an underground laboratory featuring a mysterious glowing device.

Martinez noted that the design includes a hidden spider silhouette intended to be subtle from most angles. The project was reportedly part of the planned Amazing Spider-Man franchise, with Drew Goddard set to write and direct. The film was intended to focus on a group of six villains, potentially including characters such as Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, and Venom.
