Sooke Garden Club to host bonsai workshop

The Sooke Garden Club will host a bonsai workshop featuring Victoria-based expert Mark Paterson. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, October 28, at 7 p.m. at the Juan de Fuca Local Area Services Building.

Paterson, who currently manages the Bonsai collection at the Horticultural Centre of the Pacific, will share his expertise on the art form. His background includes curating two public bonsai collections and teaching hundreds of individuals on the practice.
