Soongsil University and Cedars-Sinai partner on AI-bio research

Soongsil University’s G-LAMP project team has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles to advance convergence research in AI and biotechnology.

The agreement aims to expand global research exchanges and collaborative studies between the two institutions. To mark the partnership, a joint symposium was held where approximately 40 researchers and officials shared recent findings in the AI-bio field through oral and poster presentations.

Professor Jason Moore from Cedars-Sinai delivered a keynote lecture on using AI agents for automated analysis platforms of hospital multimodal data. Following the symposium, representatives from Soongsil University’s AI-Bio Convergence Research Institute and Cedars-Sinai discussed specific plans for technical exchange and joint research initiatives.
