SOOP Supers lose debut volleyball match to IBK Industrial Bank of Korea

The newly formed SOOP Supers volleyball team suffered a straight-set defeat in their official debut during the 2026 Yeosu·NH Nonghyup Cup. Facing IBK Industrial Bank of Korea at the Yeosu Jinnam Gymnasium, the Supers lost 0-3 (21-25, 16-25, 19-25).

The debut was hampered by the absence of key players. Foreign player Adriana (Adriana Fitzmorris) was sidelined after sustaining a minor concussion during training, and Park Eun-seo also did not participate. This left the team relying heavily on Asia-quota player Ezshi.

While the Supers showed resilience in the third set, trailing behind due to defensive instability and a low attack success rate, they were unable to overcome IBK's organized play led by Victoria and Miwa. Head coach Kim Se-jin noted that the team is currently focusing on building defensive systems and technical foundations, acknowledging that there is significant work ahead for the new squad.
