Soos Asteffekan building in Deurne to be demolished for new apartments

The demolition of the Soos Asteffekan building in Deurne marks the end of a long-standing local era. The site at Visser 27, which served as a central gathering point for local youth since its opening in 1969, is being cleared to make way for the Elzenkwartier apartment complex.

The new development will consist of a six-story building reaching nearly 19 meters in height. It is designed to provide forty residential units, including eighteen mid-range affordable purchase apartments, eighteen high-end mid-range purchase apartments, and four luxury purchase apartments.
