Sooshi Mango to debut feature film in 2027

Comedy group Sooshi Mango will transition to the big screen with their first feature film, scheduled for release in late 2027. The untitled project has secured production investment from Screen Australia in association with VicScreen, with Roadshow set to handle Australian distribution.

Directed by Nick Kozakis, the film stars group members Joe Salanitri, Carlo Salanitri, and Andrew Manfre, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Declan Fay. The story follows three stubborn Italian immigrants fighting to protect their social club from a mysterious health and wellness business.

The project follows the group's significant commercial success, including a high-selling 'Home Made' tour and a massive social media presence of over nine million followers. The film aims to explore themes of community, cultural identity, and the evolving nature of multicultural Australian neighborhoods.
