Sophia Bush discusses career exit and past relationship in new memoir

In her new memoir, “And I Will Tell You Mine,” actress Sophia Bush provides details regarding her departure from the television series “Chicago P.D.” and her past personal life.

Reflecting on her 2017 exit from the show, Bush described the experience as feeling like being “trapped in a burning building.” She noted that while it was her dream job, she felt miserable and unhappy due to a toxic environment. Following her departure, it was reported that costar Jason Beghe had been investigated by NBC for volatile behavior and offensive comments, for which he later issued an apology regarding his struggles with anger.

Bush also addresses her past relationship with actor Chad Michael Murray. She reveals that she discovered Murray had been unfaithful with multiple women after a close friend of his disclosed the information to her. Bush described the details of the infidelity as “shocking,” “unimaginable,” and “brutal.”
