Sophia Flörsch to debut in electric rally at ADAC Saarland-Pfalz with Opel Mokka GSE

German driver Sophia Flörsch, a development driver for Opel GSE Formula E, will make her first rally appearance as a guest driver in the ADAC Opel GSE Rally Cup. The debut takes place at the ADAC Saarland‑Pfalz Rally on 14‑15 August, where she will pilot the electric Opel Mokka GSE Rally, a 207 kW (281 hp) rally car.

Flörsch prepared for the event with three days of intensive training alongside experienced navigator Nina Spitaler and received support from Opel junior‑team driver Claire Schönborn. The rally forms the fourth round of the German Rally Championship and will feature 14 special stages, including a nearly 20‑km sprint stage. Opel uses the event to link its Formula E programme with its electric rally series and to promote greater diversity in motorsport, highlighting the role of women in the discipline.
