German basketball star Satou Sabally will miss the upcoming FIBA Women’s World Cup in Berlin due to ongoing health concerns. The New York Liberty player confirmed she must prioritize her recovery from a concussion sustained in June.

This marks Sabally’s second concussion within eight months. Her absence, along with potential injuries to other key players like Nyara Sabally (calf injury) and Leonie Fiebich (foot injury), presents a significant challenge for the German national team ahead of the tournament scheduled for September 4–13.
